Generators, compressors and plant

Gensets, compressors, pumps, conveyors and other machinery coming out of a building.

We also take RVs, motorhomes and travel trailers, usually for a removal fee because of how they're built, and loose scrap metal that comes with a job.

Who usually calls us

Fleet and operations managers retiring a unit that failed inspection. Contractors with a machine that's cheaper to replace than rebuild. Warehouses clearing out forklifts before a move. Farms with a tractor that hasn't started since the last owner. Property managers and estates dealing with equipment someone left behind.

The common thread is that it's taking up space, it isn't going to run again without serious money, and nobody wants to spend a week figuring out how to move it.

How a heavy removal works

  1. 1

    Describe the job

Call or send photos of the equipment, its plate or serial plate, and the spot it's sitting in. Rough weight and dimensions help.

  2. 2

Get a price or a flat fee

We tell you whether we're paying you or what the removal costs, and book a time around your site.

  3. 3

    We load and haul it

The crew arrives with the right truck, loads it safely, handles the paperwork and, where we're buying, pays on site.

Heavy equipment questions

Do you charge for scrap equipment removal?

It depends on the machine. A lot of equipment has enough metal or resale value that we pay you for it. Some jobs, like RVs, motorhomes, travel trailers or machinery that needs special rigging, can carry a removal fee. Either way you get the number before anything is booked.

What paperwork do you need?

Proof that it's yours to sell: a registration for anything plated, or a bill of sale, invoice or company letter for unregistered equipment. For company assets, a purchase order or sign-off from whoever can approve the disposal.

Does the equipment need to run?

No. Seized engines, dead hydraulics and flat tires are normal for what we pick up. Tell us whether it rolls and whether there's a forklift or loader on site to help, and we'll plan the lift.

Can you remove equipment from a job site, warehouse or farm?

Yes. Let us know the access: gate width, ground conditions, overhead clearance and whether there's a loading dock. We'll book a time that works around your crew.

What happens to the equipment afterwards?

Anything that can be repaired or sold on is. The rest is broken down and the metal goes to licensed recycling facilities.

Just a car, truck or van?

Regular vehicles are always free to remove. Start with our vehicle removal services or find scrap car removal near you.
